I’m heavily into my MMORPG and recently I stumbled upon a little gem.
My first MMORPG was SWG or Star Wars Galaxies run by SOE. This was a great game unfortunately it was run by fools who, in a word, ruined? a good game. I left just as ‘Jump to Light Speed’ came out. Having played the beta, I didn’t feel it added that much to what they had already ruined.
Other MMORPG I’ve played include Planetside, City of Heroes, Guildwars, Everquest 2, World of Warcraft, Dark and Light, Dark Ages of Camelot and EVE Online. But I’ve grown tired of those and have recently been waiting for Pirates of the Burning Sea but this seems to be taking centuries to develop so while on MMORPG.com I found ‘Voyage Century’ set in a similar period and out now, great!

Voyage Century is a world exploration game set in the Age of Sail. Spanning the globe of the 15th to the 18th century, you can choose any of several nationalities and professions to play: A British privateer, a Chinese merchant, an Egyptian boat builderÂ… these are all viable career paths in this MMORPG.
Perhaps you will choose to be an intrepid explorer, visit the wonders of the world, mine resources on the outskirts of civilization, discover pieces of a treasure map, solve mysterious puzzles and gain riches in trade. Then outfit your ship, fight pirates on the high seas and gain reputation or notoriety.
From what I have seen of it, it’s a great little? game and great fun with loads of potential.
